How Avuru Vision collects, uses, and protects your data.
Last updated: July 2026
Avuru Vision is a personal finance app. We collect only what we need to run it, we never sell your personal data, and we never share it with advertisers. This page explains what we process and the choices you control.
Account identity you provide (email, name, language, timezone and preferred currency), and, when you sign in with Google, the basic profile information Google returns. We also record technical data needed to operate the service, such as your active sign-in sessions (device, browser and IP address) and an activity log of changes you make in the app.
When you choose to link a bank account, our regulated banking partners return your account details and transactions so the app can display, categorise and analyse them. You decide which accounts to link, and you can disconnect them at any time. We never store your bank credentials — authentication happens with the banking provider.
We use your data to provide the service: showing balances and transactions, budgeting, goals, reports and notifications. We process it to operate, secure and improve the product and to provide customer support. We do not use it for advertising.
Optional AI features (insights, suggestions and chat) process your financial data to generate personalised guidance. AI runs only when you use those features and according to the privacy choices below. AI output is informational and is not financial advice.
In Settings → Privacy you can control analytics, whether your data may be used to improve our AI models, and whether you receive personalised insights, as well as profile and activity visibility. These choices are saved to your profile and applied across the app.
We share data only with the service providers that make Avuru Vision work — banking aggregators, cloud hosting, and infrastructure providers — under contracts that limit them to processing it on our behalf. We may disclose data where required by law. We do not sell personal data.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed or anonymised, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal obligations.
You can export your data and permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. You also have the right to access, correct, and object to processing. Deletion requests are honoured through our account-deletion workflow.
Access is protected by authentication and encrypted connections, and you can review and revoke active sessions in Settings → Security. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify you of incidents where required.
As Avuru Vision is in active development, we may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected here with a new update date.
You can request export or deletion of your data at any time, or ask a privacy question, by writing to privacy@avuru.com.
